Community, Mental Health, Elections, and You – A New Podcast Episode with Rebecca Sanin

The entire country has been focused on New York and its elections recently, and tensions are running hot. On Why Do People Do That, we thought it might be prudent to talk a bit about both the mental health side of local voting and local elections, as well as why you should care about them.

We talk about the importance of local elections and how most of your day to day experience is actually shaped by these elections, typically more so than the national ones. We talk about how to talk to friends and neighbors in a politically tense environment, and even how to overcome your own reservations about living your truth with your politics.
