Our newest podcast episode is out, and this one is about the holiday you know and love: Halloween. It’s also about something that many of us have probably noticed, but haven’t taken the time to really think about, which is that Halloween tends to be when a lot of people, almost always women, tend to dress “sexy.”

Okay, that last one is made up, but the idea is still the same – Halloween costumes are often, especially for women, designed to be sexy. And, as women, many of us also embrace it. Many even enjoy it, and look forward to it, even if they have otherwise very feminist views.
What is it about Halloween that has so many of us not only dressing up, but dressing sexy, and why do we enjoy this opportunity to embrace an adult version of our inner child?
